Rio Rancho, NM – Yesterday, District Court Judge, Glenn Ellington, threw out a challenge to Commissioner Block’s nominating petitions to appear on the Republican Primary ballot for Governor. The judge ruled that the lawsuit was not properly delivered to the offices of the Secretary of State or Attorney General, as required by state law.
Block had this to say in response to the court ruling:
This ruling does significant damage to the establishment and their preferred candidates. Since the beginning of my campaign, establishment politicians have been working to stop our movement. The establishment Republicans, just like Michelle Lujan Grisham and the radical socialists, don’t have New Mexican’s best interests at heart. That is why I am running to defeat establishment politicians and create a safer New Mexico.
This is a win for the Republican primary voters who support me and will now be able to have their voices heard in June. Those voices will be overwhelming as I take on the establishment candidates and cruise to victory in the Primary before unseating Grisham in November.
By securing key endorsements, winning straw polls, and consistently being targeted by radical socialists attempting to take over the state, Jay has continued to gain momentum in his campaign for New Mexico leadership.
